Is it normal to be nervous?

I don't know how I did it, but I have landed a meeting with the retired CEO of Macy's Inc. In a couple of weeks I'm headed to NYC for work and whilst there I'm going to talk to him about my charity concept, Bubs, and see if he's interested in joining me on this mission in some capacity. I am ALREADY nervous and I'm not sure I'll ever feel prepared, I don't know what I said that caught his attention but I'm so hopeful that we align. I promised to share the highs and lows of starting a charity with you guys so however it turns out, I'll keep you posted!
In case you didn't know, I've founded a charity called Bubs (in honour of my late Aunty, I posted about why a few weeks ago so feel free to scroll through my website News Feed and catch up). The idea is to work with brands to alleviate them of their excess stock, we'll be an online outlet to the public, and funds raised will be donated to causes in need across America. My way of giving back to the country that has taken my family in with open arms. After 9 months of consumer research, we're starting with beauty and skincare and I'm currently on the uphill struggle to get in front of brand owners and convince them of the value Bubs can bring as a partner to their company. You can imagine how much the former CEO of Macy's Inc might be able to help with opening these doors, and doors in the other industries we want to spread into once the ball is rolling.
I wasn't sure whether I should post about this meeting before it happens, I feel like anything I want and say out loud never happens, and when I don't tell a SOUL things usually work out. Not sure if there's any psychology to support this but...too late now - I've said it because I need your support and good luck messages to get my head in the game!
We went out for Taco Tuesday this week to celebrate the little wins (trust me, there have been plenty of rejections before) and here's a pic of Rory not sharing the chips and guac.
Hope everyone is doing well!
