I tried to make a Pot Pie!

...and I actually think it went pretty well! Disclaimer - probably not something you want to eat if like me you live in 100 degree heat BUT it was yummy nonetheless.

This is the recipe that I used and I didn't make any changes (unusual for me haha). I'd love you guys to tell me if it's traditional or perhaps it's regional as I often find when looking for "American recipes" here!

I served it with mashed potatoes and broccoli and everyone ate every crumb - high praise from a toddler!

Let me know what other American recipes I should try and master! I'll definitely be making this again...in the cooler months - if those exist in Florida!
