Hurricane Season?

I thought it was 'officially' most of the year in Florida! But most likely to hit in September? I don't know...all I do know is the weather has been crazy this week and much more unpredictable than we were lead to believe! So much for '10 minutes of rain every afternoon' - it's either been scorching hot all day or the heaviest rain I've ever witnessed in my life all day...seemingly no inbetween!

I've been warned this may last (or worsen) in September but we're hoping for a let up next week at least as my Nan and sister are coming to visit and I haven't seen either of them in well over a year! Super excited to show them around and they've had a terrible cold wet Summer back home so everyone please cross fingers they get some nice holiday sunshine!

In other news, we're potty training Rory at the moment. If I had a dollar for every time I've said poop this week I'd stop complaining about the cost of living in Florida. Ha!
