IF YOU HAVEN'T YOU MUST!
It's British Summertime (rare) in a drink and it's been around for YEARS. Long before Aperol Spritz was cool. I did find a bottle of Pimm's in our local liquor store but I've added some links at the end of this blog for places in the US that seem to stock it online, sadly it isn't on Amazon as far as I can see!
Take a tall glass, fill it with ice. One shot of Pimm's is normal, two is always better.
You can mix it with any light soda you like (i.e. sprite, 7up, starry, club soda). Sprite would be most common, in second would be my personal favourite which is a good squeeze of fresh lemon and ginger ale/beer.
No matter what mixer you choose, the garnishes remain the same and are crucial to the execution (we take this very seriously in the UK). Fresh mint, fresh strawberries, orange slice, cucumber slice. I have seen other things on top of this but...unnecessary fluff IMO. Stick to the traditions it's beautiful.
Muddle it up with a straw and enjoy! The back of the Pimm's bottle does include measurements for jugs as this is often found by the pitcher at garden parties.
